Rights activist Khurram Zaki shot dead in Karachi

Unidentified gunmen mowed down human rights activist Khurram Zaki in a targeted attack in North Karachi late on Saturday evening, police officials said. They said four attackers who came on two motorbikes targeted Zaki at a hotel in North Karachi’s Sector 11-B, causing his instant death and wounding three others. According to officials, the rights activist who was the target of the miscreants was hit by five bullets in the chest. The body and the injured, including Rao Khalid and Salman, were ferried to a hospital. It may be mentioned that Khurram Zaki had raised voice against extremism.

  1. Same old story " four attackers on two motor-cycles" and 'unknown'. Two years of Operation but killings go on. But thanks, a commonman feels more safe in the streets of this formerly hostage city.
