A housemaid murdered a landlady in Karachi on Sunday and decamped with cash and valuables.
The housemaid identified as Khadim Nazir strangled her aged employer to death in Defence, police said without identifying the victim.
The alleged killer made off with Rs 40,000 in cash, gold ornaments, and other valuables worth over Rs 0.2 million. The police have registered a case and stated investigation.
CRACKER BLAST HURTS FOUR
At least four people were injured in a cracker blast targeting a private restaurant in Karachi’s Lyari neighbourhood on Sunday.
According to local media reports, two bike-riding miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at Haider Hotel in Lyari’s Sango Lane area and injured four people. While police cordoned off the area, rescuers rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a nearby civil hospital. No group has so far claimed responsibility of the attack. Khurram Zaki, a social activist was also shot dead on Sunday in Karachi.
This could happen to Qaim Shah too!He is ancient age wise.
