The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has claimed it has documents that prove the Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi’s university degree is fake.

AAP Chief wrote a letter to the Delhi University on Friday urging it to publish Modi’s degree on its website for the public, foreign media reported.

AAP alleges that such documents don’t actually exist, that no “Narendra Damodar Modi” passed out of the university in 1978 as the PM had professed in his 2014 poll papers.

The AAP claims to have tracked down the degree certificate of Narendra Mahavir Modi, from Alwar in Rajasthan, who graduated in 1978. But Modi is from Vadnagar in Gujarat, the party says, citing his school certificates.

The Bharatiya Janata Party said that the allegations were too “silly” to respond to.
