PTI is bringing positive changes to the system, says Khattak

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the PTI-led coalition government is trying to bring a positive change in the prevailing system and to reform the institutions to make them strong enough to provide standard civic facilities to the people.

He said this while addressing a public gathering at Azakhel Payan area in Nowshera on Friday. Provincial Minister Mian Jamshed Uddin Kaka Khel, MNA Dr Imran Khattak, District Nazim Liaqat Khattak and elected local representatives were present on the occasion.

The CM said that people had voted for PTI to change the system and that is why the present government had strived for reformation of institutions in the first two years of its tenure. “Developed countries have made their institutions strong and stable and that is why they have attained progress and prosperity,” he said.

Khattak said that reformation of the system is more important than development activities. He went on to say that the present government had abolished all sorts of interference in the affairs of the institutions to make it service oriented. He informed that the government had taken steps to eliminate injustice and corruption in order to ensure merit and supremacy of law.

He said that the provincial government had faced a tough time in streamlining the institutions and improving the system. He asked the elected representatives to keep a vigilant eye on the developmental activities in their respective areas to ensure judicious use of resources.
