A man suffering from maxillofacial pain was denied entry to a local hospital by guards due to security protocol of President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday.

The man, who was brought to the dental hospital, was then referred to Nishtar Hospital which was at least one-and-a-half hours’ away. His family had to move him on foot as all roads had been closed for vehicular traffic as part of protocol for the president.

The man had reportedly met with an accident and had suffered fracture in his jaw bone. Footages showed the man was grimacing in pain lying on a stretcher.
