Panama Leaks: PM Nawaz advises legal team to review Opposition’s TORs

Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has advised his team of legal experts to review Terms Of References (TORs) prepared by the Opposition parties for the judicial commission that will be probing into the Panama Leaks issue.

According to reports, a consultation meeting regarding the matter was chaired by the PM during which TORs unanimously prepared by the Opposition parties were discussed.

A legal team briefed PM Nawaz on the TORs for the Panama Leaks investigation. The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers, Advisors and close aides of the PM.

A decision was made during the meeting that the government will accept the Supreme Court’s decision on the matter. PM once again stated that he presents himself first for the accountability. He added that the judicial commission will prove his honesty and will expose the lies of his political opponents.

On the other hand, leader of the Opposition and Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) senior leader Khurshid Shah stated that the Opposition will write a letter to the PM regarding the TORs. He added that the TORs prepared by the Opposition parties will be sent to the PM through this letter.
