The Capital Development Authority (CDA) employees staged a protest outside the chairman’s office against property dealers on Tuesday.
According to details, staff of CDA chairman’s office, one window state management and other offices came out to demonstrate against Monday incident when property dealers stormed the CDA chairman’s office, harassed civic body officials and use indecent language against the administration.
Addressing the protest, CDA Labour Union President Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin condemned the incident and said that everyone has right to protest for his demand, but no one is allowed to violate the law.
He said that every citizen is respectable for them and property dealers should have used legal ways to put their demands in front of the administration to resolve them through dialogue.
“CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal and his team are people friendly and labour friendly. They are struggling day and night to provide better facilities to citizens,” he added.
