Two labourers working on Metro Bus Project were electrocuted to death on Monday.
According to the rescue sources, the labourers were engaged in development work on Metro Bus Project in Vehari Chowk of Multan when a pillar fell on a high-tension electricity line passing from the area and the wires fell on the labourers, electrocuting to death two of them.
The bodies of the laboureres who died of electric shock were shifted to the hospital where they were handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities.
Five labourers of Multan Metro Bus Project had lost their lives in various incidents during the last four months.
The labourers have demanded the provincial government to ensure security to their lives and pay compensation to the families of those who lost their lives while working on the project.
