More than a month after his arrest, Sindh Rangers released on Tuesday Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Shahid Pasha from custody.
The paramilitary force had arrested Pasha from his apartment in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi on March 21.
His arrest was declared later during the day, and was produced in an Anti Terror Court to seek the leader’s 90-day preventive detention.
According to sources, Pasha reached party headquarters Nine Zero after his release.
Pasha was made deputy convener of the MQM Rabita Committee a year ago, and is believed to be an important figure in party’s organisational structure.
