The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has transferred director of Anti-Corruption Establishment Ziaullah Khan Toru.
In a notification issued on Monday, it transferred five officers of different cadres, including Toru, the officer of BS-18 grade who has been posted as deputy director Provincial Services Academy, Peshawar.
On the other hand, additional charge of anti-corruption establishment was given to deputy commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud.
According to reports, Toru had sour relations with the KP chief secretary.
On March 16, Ziaullah Toru had said that his department recovered a massive Rs1.6 billion from corrupt officials, including lawmakers, and over 3,600 cases of corruption were being probed across the province.
