Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has stated that closing education institutions every time an important person visits an area is a ‘retrogressive’ approach, local media reported on Tuesday.
PTI leader criticised Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif after he visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Bannu district today.
Khan wrote on a social media platform that he has directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to take notice of closure of schools in the area during Prime Minister’s visit and take action.
Closing educational institutions when VIPs visit an area is a retrogressive practice. I have asked KP govt to immediately put a stop to it.

PM Nawaz paid a visit to Bannu today and announced construction of a university in Lakki Marwat. He further announced Rs 200 million development package for the locals.
The Prime Minister also announced construction of an airport in Bannu.
Actually coming from an uneducated background like Punjab he wants whole country to follow his despicable priority list. Education and health don’t figure anywhere. Laundry is priority one. The money one I mean.
