A five-member joint investigation team has been formed to probe the leaked video recording of Khalid Shamim, the main accused in the Imran Farooq murder case.
The investigation team, headed by the Rawalpindi commissioner comprises additional secretary and deputy inspector general Prisons, an FIA official and a representative of Lahore’s Forensic Lab. The team will start investigation from Monday (today).
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had taken notice of the video of Shamim in Adiala Jail. The CM had also ordered a probe into the incident.
