Fine imposed on hotels selling substandard items

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration imposed a fine of Rs 0.093 million on hotels and shops over selling substandard food items.

Led by the Shalimar assistant commissioner, an ICT administration team conducted an operation in Sector G-10. The raiding team recovered poor quality cooking oil being used by the restaurant which was later disposed of. The team also checked the quality of food commodities, fruits and vegetables being sold by the shopkeepers.

The capital administration imposed an overall fine of Rs 0.093 million and warned the violators of strict action.
