The Rawalpindi police has finalised its homework to introduce Dolphin Force to stem robbery, burglary, theft incidents and other street crime.
The force will be provided a separate headquarters and also equipped with latest arms, wireless sets and motorbikes to patrol streets and roads, according to a police source.
The force will be headed by an SP rank officer and will have four DSPs, 15 Inspectors, 36 sub-inspectors, 33 assistant sub-inspectors, 166 head constables and 1,210 constables. The force will be made functional by the end of the current month.
