The law enforcement agencies personnel killed one and arrested at least two terrorist belonging to a banned outfit on Friday.
Explosives, weapons and ammunitions were recovered from the possession of the suspects.
According to security sources, acting on a tip-off, the security personnel raided a house in Ferozabad area of Khuzdar. The terrorist suspects upon sight of the security forces started firing and tried to flee.
During the exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed while another was apprehended. The security officials confiscated weapons from his possession.
Separately, Mitiari police captured a terrorist and recovered explosive material.
According to police, officials stopped a car at a check post and after searching it, recovered 2 kg of explosive material hidden in the secret compartments of the vehicle. The nabbed terrorist suspect was identified as Zulfiqar Jamali, stated to be a resident of Nawabshah.
The detainees have been shifted to undisclosed locations for further interrogation.
