PTI’s DJ Wali ready to charge up Lahorites with 240 speakers

Organisers of PTI rally in Lahore say 240 loudspeakers have been installed at the venue as part of special sound arrangements operated by a new sound engineer. The party is all set for its political show today at Mall Road.

 

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a warm up rally from Liberty Chowk to Charing Cross. The rally was held against corruption to congregate the supporters ahead of Sunday’s public gathering.

The participants started moving from Liberty Chowk at 5 pm and reach the main venue under Insaf Tiger Force and other security personnel’s strict monitoring.

Preparations for PTI rally at Mall Road have entered into final phase as the music system, banners and chair arrangements have been done.

Generators have also been placed for the lights, whereas, the stage would be made in front of Punjab Assembly.

The local administration has asked PTI to change the location but the Punjab government spokesman stated that PTI is adamant to hold the rally on the exact area.

The spokesperson assured that government will fulfill its responsibility by providing security as more than 2000 police personnel would be deployed at the venue.

Earlier, PTI leader Shoaib Siddiqui said that the party will not be afraid of cases and jails.
