Panama Leaks: PTI hires Babar Awan’s services for legal clash

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Friday managed to seek the services of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Babar Awan over the Panama Leaks issue. Awan’s help was sought for the expected legal battle that will ensue.

According to sources, Awan met PTI’s senior leader Jehangir Khan Tareen in Islamabad. The two leaders discussed the legal aspects of the Panama Leaks during the meeting.

PTI is also mulling the submission of a petition against Prime Miniser (PM) Nawaz Sharif over the Panama Leaks issue. Awan has already met PTI chairman Imran Khan two days ago in this regard.

Meanhwhile Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali s return from Turkey is being seen as crucial with significant developments in the Panama Leaks investigation commission issue are expected within 72 hours.

  1. Whoever advised PTI to hire Babar Awan to represent them in the court, has made a mistake. Babar Awan is a fifth columnist. Even if he was a pillar of the PPP, he was the first one to distribute sweets when news of Bhutto hanging were heard. Will he deliver ?
