Country witnessing marked improvement in health, energy: minister

Significant improvement can be witnessed in law and order, health, energy and economy due to sincere efforts and solid initiatives taken by the PML-N government, Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said on Saturday while addressing the annual convocation ceremony of Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IM&DC) as the chief guest at Jinnah Convention Centre.

The minister said that unfortunately a large number of children, were out of school due to poverty and lack of resources. He said that Pakistan was an over-populated country, having fewer resources to meet the needs of the people.

He congratulated students, parents and faculty on the occasion of the annual convocation. He said that “it was a good opportunity for the youth to serve humanity, nation and county, particularly the downtrodden.”

Fazal said the government was fully aware of the problems facing the country and had been working to provide extensive healthcare facilities to the masses.

He said the IM&DC was one of the well-equipped hospitals in the federal capital with trained and professional faculty staff.

Earlier, the minister distributed degrees amongst the MBBS and BDS graduates.
