Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that his party demands the constituting of an impartial commission to probe the allegations leveled against key political figures in Panama Leaks.
Talking to media during his visit to Layyah to condole the death of 29 people who died after consuming poisonous sweets, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that Panama Leaks unveiled the corruption of the sitting prime minister which needs to be investigated by a neutral commission and that the PM has no justification to continue his office until he was declared innocent by the commission.
The PTI leader held the government responsible for the loss of 29 lives in Layyah due to consumption of toxic sweets and said that the government had failed to provide treatment facilities to the poor masses.
He said that politicians go to foreign countries even for the treatment of cold, while the masses are deprived of the basic treatment facilities. The number of hospitals is far less compared to the size of the population, he said, adding that the existing hospitals lack medical staff and appropriate treatment facilities.
Earlier, Chaudhry Sarwar visited the families of the 29 people who died after eating poisonous sweets and condoled with them. He prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace and courage for the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
The PTI leader on behalf of his party also assured the affectees of all sort of assistance to them.
