The Ministry for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has cancelled Friday’s Hajj balloting.
According to details the Supreme Court has ordered the ministry not to issue results of balloting on Friday, at which, the ministry decided to cancel balloting till the decision of the apex court in order to ensure transparency.
The new date of balloting will be announced in the light of Supreme Court’s decision, the statement said.
According to ministry 280,617 applications have been received and 83,440 pilgrims will be selected through a transparent balloting.
the govt of pakistan is advised to accept the applications of haj in future only from the persons who have not performed haj in their entire life instead of the condition of last five years only.
