Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have arrested a suspect and recovered hate literature from his possession during a raid in Abbotabad.
On tip-off, the CTD Hazara region raided a house located in Abbotabad on Tuesday, arrested a person and seized literature in support of banned outfits and against security forces from his possession.
The detainee was identified as Sufyan Pervaiz and was allegedly involved in uploading material on Facebook supporting banned outfits and criticising the security forces. According to CTD, the accused had been sharing provocative content from his Facebook account against the country and security forces since long.
The CTD claimed to have recovered computer, two cell-phones, four SIMS, and hate literature from the suspects’ possession. The detainee was shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
