Taliban’s brutality and Gulshan Iqbal park

That humanity could stoop to this low was unimaginable

I am not sure, or rather I don’t want to know if there is a foreign hand involved in these extremely cruel and barbaric terrorist activities in Pakistan but all I know is that whenever there is such an incident, TTP takes the responsibility  and are linked to this directly or indirectly. I feel extremely crestfallen when we see that these vultures have used the innocent young boys for their vested and filthy interests and these boys that have fallen prey to, are often among us that we knew living around or in the area. Actually they are Khawarij according to Sahi Hadith and are the fuel of the Hell. These heartless vultures (the so-called leaders of these banned terrorist groups) are as timid as mice in that they don’t come out from their hidings and use very young boys who have been brain washed to perform and act upon their orders. These bombers not only take the lives of an individual but families related to them leaving behind scars and indelible imprints of such havocs on the clear slates of their minds and the generations to come. They don’t take the life of a human but the whole humanity and are claimant of a place in heaven. It is indeed paradoxical when I see that they are world apart in their beliefs when it comes to right and wrong in Islam.
I have always been a huge admirer of Pakistan Army and its role in saving, building and safeguarding the country. It is heartening to note that they have initiated operations against these senseless “hyenas” and we must all back them up and support them to the best of our abilities. These factions have their headquarters in Punjab as this is an established fact now and many banned organizations operate from Punjab throughout Pakistan. The whole nation is behind our Army and the operation to wipe these elements from their roots must go on without any hindrance and obstacle. The Pakistan Army’s operations should be across the board in whole of Pakistan and must not end or stop as I feel that a continuous monitoring mechanism should also be in place in all the “suspected” areas to make sure that these organizations don’t grow ever again.
Casting a glance in the memory lane, I recall that it was one beautiful morning in spring season few years back when we went to this park called Gulshan e Iqbal Park, which had just opened and we were extremely excited to be there. The novelty worn out within a few months but we were used to enjoy every moment of it in that park where children were used to run around playing their innocent little games, the girls gossip sitting in one secluded part of the park, the elderly walking producing the rhythmic sounds created by their walking sticks. The young ones playing football and cricket reflecting the robust energies and exuberance of youth and the women had always something to talk about basking in the Sun on the benches watching their children run around. I was used to visit this park every now and then and on special occasions like Eids, The Independence Day, Basant etc. It had become my routine then to come to this park – at times alone, at times with family and friends – walking around and sitting there for hours benefitting from the invigoration environment around me looking at the people, listening to the birds chirping melodiously creating sounds only nature can create and felling the fresh air on my face filled with the fragrance of the newly blossomed flowers all over the park- I am recalling the Eid day spent in this park where children were reaching out to their mothers in ecstatic frenzy and mothers picking them up and throwing them up in the air.

A few years later I saw the children flying in the air covered in blood crying and reaching out to their mothers frantically but the mothers don’t move the young and old laying on the grass brutally injured or dead. The mothers were looking for their children and children searching for their parents in a chaotic state of affairs but can’t find them anywhere. Human bodies lying around cut into pieces and cluttered in blood and dirt.  It was havoc in that park which a moment ago was full of people moving around with joy and ecstasy on their faces. The gaiety and the laughers had turned into sheer screams and cries. The humanity reached to its lowest possible levels in a matter of seconds. It was children and women (mostly Christians present there for Easter) who were blown up by the terrorist blowing up the real and true image of Islam as well and also its message for every ethnicity and community living in a prominently Muslim area. These vultures have no religion and understanding of the religion but are mere puppets in the hands of so-called “Ulamaas/leaders”. These factions have their vested interests which are achieved at the cost of the lives of these innocent young minds which are inculcated with absolutely wrong picture of Islam. These brainless human bombs mindlessly play with the people’s lives, shattering the lives of the innocent children forever, left behind. The elders who had hoped for their children’s future lives with them are left behind helpless and the young ones left tortured mentally forever. The impacts of such incidents are catastrophic in every way possible to human imagination. These inhuman acts are nothing but sheer callousness and brutality which no human being will endorse.

These elements should be eliminated from our motherland at the earliest. Enough is enough. We all must play our due role diligently to help the authorities  to see these filthy, rotten and extremely hated elements wiped out by one and all from our country. Zarb e Azab has done the job to some extent and it must not stop until this “filth” is pulled off from its roots from the face of the Earth. We support and salute our soldiers who are part of the sacred mission to save our country. May Allah SWTA help all those fighting against this evil which has damaged the soft image of this country called Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Aameen.
