Sikh community praises KP police for arresting Soran Singh’s killers

A delegation of Sikh community led by Roshan Singh, cousin of slain Sardar Soran Singh, from Buner district called on IGP of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani and expressed satisfaction over performance of the Buner police for arresting the killers of Singh in just three hours after the assassination.

The delegation comprised of Inder Parkash, Amar Nath, Satwaut Singh and Deepak Kumar. Jamaat-e-Islami District Naib Amir Muhammad Hanif and PML (N) Tehsil President Jehan Akbar also accompanied the delegation.

The members of delegation also announced to hold a function in recognition of the outstanding performance of the Buner police very soon for their encouragement.

District Naib Amir of the Jamaat-e-Islami Muhammad Hanif said that the performance showed by the Buner police in busting the real accused will go a long way in the annals of police history.

He expressed full satisfaction over the matchless performance of Buner police and assured full cooperation for maintenance of law and order in the region.

The PML-N Tehsil president Jehan Akbar said that people of the area were living just like real brother without any cast and creed and there was no issue and problem amongst them.

He further added that for the last several years different ceremonies were celebrated peacefully in district Buner especially devotees were thronging to the shrine of Pir Baba in a very large number which proofed peace and security in the area.

Talking on the occasion the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani said that with the active cooperation of the general public police can achieve its target and ensure peace and tranquillity in the society.
