The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday adjourned till April 28 the hearing on a petition filed against issuance of non bailable arrest warrant for former President Pervez Musharraf in the Ghazi Abdul Rashid murder case.

The hearing was adjourned due to absence of lawyers.

When IHC judge Amir Farooq took up the case for hearing on Monday, the court was told that Malik Tahir Mehmood, counsel for Musharraf, could not appear due to his pre-occupation.

Additional and Sessions Judge Pervez ul Qadir Memon issued non bailable arrest warrants on February 20 which has been challenged in the IHC.

The subordinate court rejected medical certificates of Musharraf and had issued non bailable arrest warrants.
