Indian filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma doesn’t seem to appreciate the fact that superstar Shah Rukh Khan is branching out his acting career with different roles such as Gaurav from his new movie Fan.
Varma has taken to Twitter to warn SRK not to follow in the footsteps of Indian actor Kamal Haasan or else he will lose his star status to Salman Khan.
The Satya filmmaker criticised Shah Rukh’s role as an obsessed fan in Fan as well as his upcoming project with Aanand L Rai in which he will be seen as a dwarf, which parallels Kamal’s role as a dwarf in Appu Raja.
Kamal was as big a superstar as Rajnikant till he started doing dwarf, fat, tall etc nd as a fan I hope SRK doesn’t listen to wrong advisers

He further notes that acting is not what earned SRK his title as the megastar, it’s that ‘stars like SRK come blessed by God’, Verma tweets.
Grt actrs r dime a dozen in NSD, Stage etc whereas Stars like SRK come blessed by God/Allah/Buddha etc, which is what SRK is not realising

Clint Eastwood super star for30 yrs bng himself n then is critics Hero .i don’t believe in God but as fan I pray to Allah SRK realises truth

The director claims SRK doesn’t have the same amount of muscles and workmanship as Salman Khan and Aamir Khan respectively, but is still of a higher status by “being just himself.”
He notes that Salman Khan has always been himself, and if SRK starts experimenting with roles that do not compliment his superstar persona, then Salman will take his place.
Rajnikant is Rajnikant bcos he always himself and Kamal always trying to be someone else..I hope SRK will remain like himself like Salman

Varma advises Shah Rukh Khan to be like Salman Khan, and not to take up such roles before it’s too late.
Kamal Hasan could have been a btr Rajnikant if he din’t keep bcmng some1 else..so SRK should learn from Kamal’s mistakes and just be Salman
