Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has said that the government’s announcement to form a commission to probe Panama Papers leaks will take thousands of years as the proposed commission will also investigate other things other than the leaks.

Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Umar said that in his address to the nation, Prime Minister Sharif targeted the PTI. “While targeting the PTI, Sharif forgot to tell the nation about the scope of the proposed commission,” he said.

The PTI leader invited Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid to attend his party’s rally in Islamabad to be held on Sunday as he (Pervaiz) was an expert in counting chairs. He announced that the rally participants would not march on D-Chowk and Rashid and his companions need not to be scared.

Umar said that the army chief had sacked high ranking officials and now Nawaz understood that it was a signal for him. He also claimed that the prime minister did not want accountability.
