Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC) Sajjad Ali Shah Friday issued a final warning to those judicial officers who are involved in corruption. Justice Sajjad Ali Shah stated that he is giving a clear message to all the corrupt elements in the judiciary that they should mend their ways, as no exceptions will be made during the accountability.
Addressing the judicial officers during a dinner held in honour of the judicial staff of SHC, Shah stated that corruption will not be tolerated in any way. He added that the judiciary will go through its very own cleansing process to rid of corruption.
Chief Justice stated that 20 judicial officers were dismissed on the basis of corruption while cases of 20 more were under hearing for corruption.
He further stated that the process of recruitment, from a judge to an employee of the 7th grade, had been kept the same to maintain transparency.
