Sikh Yatrees return to India

 

 

The Sikh yatrees (pilgrims), who arrived from India to attend Khalsa Janam Din and Besakhi festival at Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hassanabad, returned to their homeland on Thursday.

Evacuee Property Trust Board (EPTB) Chairman Muhammad Siddiqul Farooq, officials of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) and board officials saw off the yatrees at Wahga Railway Station.

The Sikh yatrees visited Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hassanabad, Janam Asthan, Nankana Sahab, Sucha Souda Farooqabad, Gurdwara Dera Sahib Lahore and Kartarpur Narowal and performed their rituals during their stay.

Sikh yatrees thanked the Pakistani government and the ETPB chairman for making foolproof security arrangements, accommodation and other facilities provided to them during their stay.
