The death toll of the Lahore Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park blast reached 78 on Thursday after another injured succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
A woman named Maryam who was seriously injured in the explosion was taken to Jinnah Hospital where she had been under treatment for the last 24 days. Maryam died on Thursday morning.
A suicide bomber targeted a children’s play area in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in Lahore on March 27, killing 77 people, mostly children and women, many of them Christians. Over 350 people were injured in the attack.
