Acid attack is common all over the world especially in Pakistan. Mostly, the women are attacked by sulphuric and nitric acid which are very dangerous and endanger the women. Hydrochloric is an acid which is used for blindness. Acid attack claimed several lives and caused several injures who are in massive situation even today. The acid attack is a crime and the cases are rapidly increasing in Pakistan. According to HRCP report, 150 to 4,000 cases of acid attack are reported in Pakistan yearly including both women and men. It is a matter of great concern that the culprits are openly wondering. A report revealed from January to September 2014 shows, about 42 cases of acid attacks have be recorded in Punjab. From 2012 and 2013, there was a decrement in acid attacks by 13 PC, but it rised in 2014 affecting the women. The UN is requested to ensure the safety of women’s rights and protect them from acid attacks.
