A local court in Karachi on Thursday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant of Sarfraz Merchant for the second time.
The court has directed the police to present the details of the suspect’s movable and non-movable property along with blocking his National Identity Card (NIC).
The court has also ordered authorities to produce him before court on May 16.
A case was registered against Merchant in Darakhshan Police Station. Challan filed by the police writes Merchant a fugitive.
Complainant Asad Alim Niazi has alleged Merchant of threatening to file a bogus case receiving Rs 12 crore and snatching his car on March 12, 2014.
Merchant is also suspect in money laundering case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief. (INP)
