400 houses searched, 11 suspects arrested in Capital

 

 

The contingents of Islamabad Police and Pakistan Rangers on Thursday conducted a grand search operation in various areas of the city and nabbed 11 suspects, a police spokesman said.

He said that officials and employees of Islamabad Police, Pakistan Rangers and other law enforcement agencies searched more than 400 houses in areas of Moharian and others areas adjacent to them.

The search operation was also participated by SDPO Bani Gala Arif Hussain Shah and SHO Bani Gala police station and 11 suspects were apprehended besides recovery of two 30 bore pistols, repeater guns, 12 bore gun, 7 MM rifle and ammunition of various bores from them.

SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has said the purpose of his search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city and he further directed all SHOs to continue it.

He has also appealed to the citizens to remain vigilant and inform the police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
