Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has rejected model Ayyan Ali’s request to conduct early hearing of contempt of court plea.
The model’s councel Latif Khosa had filed a contempt of court plea in the SC against Interior Ministry and authorities concerned for not omitting her name from Exit Control List (ECL).
Ayyan had requested to hold the hearing on April 20 but the court directed to conduct it next week.
Last week, Supreme Court had rejected Interior Ministry’s and customs authorities’ pleas challenging Sindh High Court’s (SHC) decision.
