Islamabad to face Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in second Pakistan Cup match

Team Islamabad led by star player Misbah-ul-Haq will face Younis Khan’s Khyber Pakhtukhwa team in the second match of a 50-over Pakistan Cup on Wednesday. The match will start at 3pm in Faisalabad.

Proper arrangements have been ensured while the authorities have also directed to monitor the whole tournament that will conclude on May 1.

Islamabad team, who has also won Pakistan Super League (PSL) title, would step onto the pitch with enthusiasm while KP team players are also ready to give tough time to the opposite side.

Led by Pakistan’s Test Captain Misbah ul Haq, Islamabad include Mohammad Sami, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Irfan, Nasir Jamshed, Zafar Gohar and Sharjeel Khan. The team coached by Mansoor Rana and Sabih Azhar.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be led by star batsman Younis Khan. Encapsulating the true spirit of the Pakistan Cup, Khan’s selection for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa side include promising cricketers Mohammad Asghar, Fakhar Zaman, Musaddiq Ahmed, Zohaib Khan and Faheem Ashraf. Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah will mark a return to competitive cricket as he prepares himself to play for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the domestic One Day tournament. Abdul Rehman and Kabir Khan are coaching the KP side.
