Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Tuesday said that if Imran Khan stages sit-in at Raiwind, he will have to be sent to the preaching centre of Raiwind so he can become a better human being.

Talking to media at an international conference organised over in-time flood warning in Lahore, the minister lashed out at the PTI chief over his sit-in call at Raiwind over the issue of Panama Leaks.

No respected person is ready to become a part of the commission to probe Panama Leaks issue because they are afraid Imran would start bashing them if they don’t act according to his wishes and if the verdict does not go in his favour, he added.

While commenting on the long hours of power outages in the country, the minister said that the people will have to bear at least six to eight hours of load shedding during summers, adding that the government was trying to convince traders to shut shops at 8pm to conserve power for domestic customers.
