The Hrithik Roshan – Kangana Ranaut battle keeps getting more and more confusing by the day with a new statement issued by either side every few days. Recently, Kangana’s lawyer, Rizwan Siddiquee, issued a statement clarifying that they had not received any summons from the cyber cell and that Hrithik and team have been spreading misleading rumours to divert media attention.
Rizwan had said, “Hrithik’s PR team is just misleading media people for obvious reasons. He should rather concentrate on acting on my counter notice or responding to it, as it has been more than 45 days since he received it. Such act of misleading media people shows acts of desperation.”
In response to Rizwan’s statement, Hrithik’s lawyer has lashed out at Kangana and Rizwan blaming them for stalling the investigation. Hrithik’s lawyer issued an official statement accusing Kangana of being non-cooperative.
The statement read, “Instead of giving so many media statements, they (Kangana) should record one official statement with the cyber crime cell which will really help the investigation. They are clearly more interested in media wars than anything else. The entire process of investigation is stalled because they haven’t officially recorded their statement with the authorities.”
Kangana has as yet not reacted to this statement.
