The Supreme Court has rejected a review petition filed by PML-N leader Sarwar Jatoi for the by-polls held in Sindh Assembly constituency (PS-23) Nowdero Feroz.
A three-member SC bench headed by Justice Saqib Nisar took up the case for hearing on Monday, Farooq H Naik appeared on behalf of PPP candidate Imtiaz Sanjal. He argued that the by-polls took place in the constituency and the PPP candidate has been declared successful.
Justice Nisar remarked “the petition has become in-fructuous and the court could do nothing after by-election results were announced.”
