Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s leader and Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ashfaq Ahmed Mangi on Monday joined Mustafa Kamal’s newly-formed Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).

The development comes over a week after two former leaders of MQM’s student wing APMSO, along with several workers, joined former Karachi mayor’s party.

“I welcome Ashfaq Mangi and all other former members of MQM in PSP. Our aim is to forge unity among people and bring those, divided along the lines of sectarianism and hatred, together,” Kamal said while addressing a press conference at his Clifton residence.

The MQM dissident went on to claim that his party was taking forward its agenda of strengthening local security, creating jobs and alleviating poverty in the country as he challenged the MQM supremo to list down things he has done for the nation. “If the nation continues to support him, we will also accept his legitimacy,” Kamal said.

Meanwhile, Mangi said he decided to join the PSP after shocking revelations of MQM’s alleged connivance with Indian spy agency, RAW were made. “We really regretted when we were labelled as agents of RAW,” the MQM lawmaker said.

  1. All ex persons of MQM should name & identify the target killers that were used by the murdering MQM Scum and the details of all murders carried out.

    • They are already doing it and Arms and ammunition being recoverd on their information like from Sakhi Hassan Grave yard and from the house of a Sector-in-Charge recently. Rangers keep cards close to their chest and play only when necessary.

  2. Mustafa Kamal has to be careful because ALL the defections may not be genuine. The 'Guest of MI6, and RAW agent may play game which most people won't understand that easy.
