The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in its report revealed that without Capital Development Authority’s role, progress in illegal housing societies was not possible.
NAB submitted its report to Senate committee on Law and Justice, chaired by Muhammad Javed Abbasi, to the meeting of Parliamentary body held on Monday.
Report said that officials of CDA were involved in corruption as no illegal housing society can be established without support of civic agency.
The NAB said some cases of illegal cooperative housing societies are being probed by it and others by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
On this, chairman committee asked the NAB to investigate all cases so that all culprits could be brought to justice.
