Six killed, four injured in road mishaps

As many as six people were killed and four others injured in different road accidents in the metropolis on Sunday.

According to rescue sources, two men were killed and two others injured when a speeding car overturned near Hub Chowki. The bodies and the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Hub for autopsies and treatment, respectively.

Separately, a speeding car overturned in Khayabne-Ettehad in Defense area. As a result, three people were injured. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment. A man identified as Noor Nawab expired on the way to hospital.

Nadeem Abbasi, 33, son of Gulam Abbas, was killed when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit him on Super Highway as he was crossing it near Toll Plaza. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

An unidentified man, aged around 24, was critically injured when a speeding vehicle hit his motorcycle near Do Darya point at Seaview. He was rushed to JPMC where he died during treatment.

An unidentified man, aged around 40, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him as he was crossing II Chundrigar Road. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment.
