Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that his party would not accept anything less than the formation of a judicial commission headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan to probe the Panama Papers revelations about the Sharif family.

“We will not accept any commission headed by a person nominated by the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz,” he said while addressing the Kashmiri community in Birmingham on Sunday evening.

“Go Imran Go slogans were raised against me. Am I the prime minister?” he asked. “I have no government position,” he added.

The PTI chairman said that the country is being harmed through money laundering. He also said that it’s impossible for a premier to do corruption and remain safe. “There is transparency in a democratic system,” Khan added.

He added that allegations were raised on Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. He went on to say, “They wouldn’t have done this if they had some shame in them.”

He added that accountability process has been started across the world after the Panama Leaks.

Imran Khan said that the government is trying to blackmail the opposition parties by claiming that they have evidences against them.

“I won’t be threatened by the government’s blackmailing. If the government has evidence of any opposition leader’s involvement in corruption it should prosecute the person rather than hurling threats,” Khan said.

Khan said that Pakistanis live outside the country because the state institutions have been destroyed in Pakistan.

“Pakistan is being run on the money of overseas Pakistanis and people with dual-nationality should also be allowed to contest the general elections,” he said.

The PTI chairman said, “We will introduce law and order in Pakistan.” He added that several nations were destroyed because they had different laws for the rich and poor.

Khan also urged the expat Kashmiris to support the PTI in the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir.

“We will bring change to Azad Kashmir just as KP is witnessing change across the board,” he said, adding that the PTI would strengthen local government system in Azad Kashmir if it was voted into power.
