Even the cabinet ministers of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif don’t know for sure when their leader will be returning to Pakistan from Britain where he is currently undergoing medical treatment.
Federal Minister of Information Pervaiz Rasheed told a private news channel that the PM’s health is improving and that the doctors are satisfied with his medical reports.
“The PM will return to the country in a few days time,” he said.
On the other hand, Federal Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif has stated that Prime Minister Nawaz will return from the UK after one-and-a-half month.
“We all are praying for the PM’s speedy recovery. He should be back in Pakistan in a month-and-a-half,” he told a gathering in Sialkot.
Meanwhile, State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali was of the view that the PM will be back by next week.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Naeemul Haq criticised the PML-N ministers for making conflicting statements regarding the PM’s return, saying the government is in a state of confusion after the so-called Panama Leaks.
