Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that all parties should respect each other’s mandate.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of a passport office at Bhimber in Azad Kashmir on Saturday.
The minister said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in principles and has always respected the mandate of other parties, including in Azad Kashmir. He, however, regretted that conspiracies have always been hatched against PML-N and its leadership.
Pervaiz Rashid said as in the past, media is once again being used for propaganda against Nawaz Sharif.
He regretted that Imran Khan, who is levelling allegations against the prime minister, is now in London to take part in the election campaign of his former brother-in-law for the office of London Mayor against a Pakistani-origin candidate Muhammad Sadiq.
The information minister said other regional countries are moving ahead on the path of development but roadblocks are being created in Pakistan by vested interest to halt its progress.
