The detained accused in Defense Housing Authority (DHA) land scandal case have approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for a bail.
On Saturday, Wasim Aslam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of private company and currently a detainee in Adyala jail has filed a petition in IHC saying that the company has been owned by Kamran Kiyani, brother of Ex-Army Chief General (Retd) Ishfaq Kiyani since 2012 and he had provided all proofs of the ownership to National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
“To save the real accused, Wasim Aslam (petitioner) is being made an escape goat”, the petition prayed to the court to grant after arrest bail.
In the petition, NAB and federation have been made party.
It is worth-mentioning that NAB had sent Wasim Aslam and two other retired army officers to Adyala jail in DHA land scandal case.
