Islamabad police have nabbed 412 absconders involved in heinous crimes during the past 15 days in a special crackdown against outlaws, a police spokesman said.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani assigned all SDPOs and SHOs to ensure arrest of proclaimed offenders and inform them on daily basis about their successes during this crackdown. He also directed the concerned officers to launch a massive crackdown against all criminals involved in the crime of heinous nature.
The SSP also issued directions to make this campaign more effective as the performance of police stations in-charges would be further reviewed in this regard. Deadline of April 18 has been given to ensure arrest of those still at large.
“No one is above the law and arrest of those at large after involvement in crimes should be ensured for safety of the lives and property of the citizens,” he directed. He also warned the police officials that sluggish attitude in this regard would not be tolerated.
