Water shortage in Quetta

In the city of Quetta, where the population is about 4.3 million, water shortage is becoming a serious issue. The people of Quetta are facing many problems because the authorities have been failed to ensure smooth supply of water in certain area of Quetta on a regular basis. Most of the water comes from underground and is also decreasing day by day due to low rainfall in Quetta. The people are compelled to purchase the water through tankers, the price of which is PKR 1,200 per tanker. But WASA is still not paying attention on the shortage of water. I request to the government to start the construction of dams that will help solve the water problem and the people will live a peaceful life in Quetta.
