Two members of Chhotu gang were killed in an encounter with police on Monday.
DSP Hafiz Abdur Rehman Aasim said that a police team, working on a tip-off, raided Thal Hero area, in the precincts of Herind Police Station, in Tehsil Jampur when robbers opened fire at police. He said the police returned fire and as a result, two gangsters of Chhotu gang, Ali Gull and his brother Pandhi Gull sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot while their accomplices managed to escape.
Law enforcement agencies had fixed head money of Rs 2 million for Ali Gull.
