A security guard of a college on Monday shot and injured a student after exchange of harsh words with him.
The security guard deputed at the gate of Government Emerson College opened fire on a student after a dispute; the injured student was shifted to Nishtar Hospital for treatment.
According to hospital administration, condition of the student, Shahbaz is stable.
Police said the security guard has been arrested.
Last month an 11-year old boy was killed in firing by a private security guard deputed at a house in Karachi.
