According to a news report, Pakistan is included among top 15 countries where gutka is causing diseases. In our country gutka is being sold openly and young generation is using it with happiness and just wasting their money. It is also the cause of cancer cases in different parts of the country. Nearly 75 percent of oral cancer patients are present in hospitals who have used chhalia, gutka or mainpuri. Of these, 7 percent are children. Earlier gutka was banned in educational institutions, public places, restaurants and other places. But still the young generation is using gutka openly and they are not being punished. I request to the health concern authorities to ban gutka and punished the gutka’s users, who are creating problems for upcoming generation.
