Pakistan and India will clash today in a pool match in 25th Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey tournament which is being held in Malaysia this year, local media reported on Tuesday.
The match is scheduled to start at 3 pm (PST) today.
Since the inaugural tournament, Pakistan and India have faced each other as many as 13 times. Out of the total Pakistan defeated the arch-rivals four times while green shirts were subdued eight times.
Pakistan has played matches against Australia, Canada and New Zealand in the tournament so far, winning only one against Canada one to three on April 6.
Matches for fifth and sixth positions will also be played in the tournament. According to the schedule, final match will be played on April 16.
Pakistan has won Azlan Shah Tournament thrice earlier, 1998, 2000 and 2003. The greens ended up runner-ups as many as six times in the past.
The last installment of the competition in 2015 was won by New Zealand.
